Expekt Review

Expekt is a Swedish based bookmaker originating in 1999 and founded by Conny Gesar and Christian Haupt. Their site is very much geared towards the eastern European countries, especially the likes of Sweden and Poland.

In 2009 Expekt was bought out by a French company called Mangas Gaming paying a reported €125 million to take control of the company and its assets, primarily based in Malta. The company is now known as the Betclick Everest Group and boast approximately 4 million clients worldwide.

Their gaming licenses are broken down into two sections. Sportsbook and casino is licensed in Malta, whilst their attached poker room is licensed by the Kahnawake gaming Commission. The sites now have over 150 employees with a customer base of around 1.5 million.

Sports Betting and Gaming Offers

Whilst Expekt don’t offer the intense array of markets that some of the larger bookmakers do, the major ones such as football, tennis, ice hockey, American football, baseball, basketball, darts, golf and motor racing are all there. Football is by far the most dominant market with over 4000 betting markets making up for around 80% of the sites total markets.

The sports betting section also covers a host of features such as a direct odds section, supertoto/scores, event results, live scores and statistics section, which is a god send for the serious bettor.

Their poker room includes tournaments such as the Irish Winter Festival, Expekt Poker League, Expekt Sunday 500 and a host of guaranteed tournaments to accompany a buzzing cash game section. A casino and live casino section boats table games, jackpot games, slots, video poker and all your usual casino games such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat.

Bonuses, Promotions and Rewards

Expekt have long been associated with providing some excellent bonus in the gambling world. They still live up to those high standards even now and have produced a series of deposit bonuses to suit your gambling needs.

Choose the bonus games in the casino such as New Monkey Mad Monkey slot in the Vegas Casino and you can win 1x, 2x or even 3x your initial payout.

Poker – Probably one of the largest poker bonuses anywhere online, Expekt give will give you a 200% bonus up to a maximum of $2000. Expekt Super Six offers you a chance to win up to $30,000 in their sit and go race. 5 points are awarded for every $1 in rake and the person with the most points at the end of the month takes the cash prize.

Customer Support

As it’s a smaller company, you would expect the likes of Expekt to provide limited customer support, when in fact it’s the complete opposite. They aren’t available 24 hours a day, which is unfortunate, but at least they are honest in the hours they operate and look to reply to you as quickly as possible.

A great feature is the inclusion of live support, something we feel every bookmaker should have. The live chat isn’t the most of sophisticated forms of support, but it allows you to speak with a representative quickly and if they can’t help, will point you where you need to be and who you need to contact for your query.

Payments

Expekt have a steady banking system with many options available for you to take advantage of. All the usual are there like Visa, Bank transfer, Neteller, Moneybookers and UKash. A separate support section is also on hand for any banking problems you may have.

Withdrawal times vary, but are all within 1-5 working days, which is excellent for a site such as Expekt. Some forms will encounter fees, so check before you make any withdrawals as to the rates on their website.
